Let's Talk Wood

No, I am not referring to that class you took in high school where you made wonderful pieces of useful items for your parents made entirely out of wood. I'm talking about wood flooring.
Say you are thinking of sprucing (pun intended) up your house, either to sell it or simply to make it better looking for you. What can make a house more beautiful on the inside than wood floors? No matter where you live, no matter the usual weather, any home can, in my opinion, be improved greatly with wood floors.
At BuildDirect, they offer a wide variety of wooden flooring and also a nice selection of colors too. So, whether you are looking for oak or maple or even Asian mahogany, BuildDirect has what you are looking for to make your floors look spectacular.
Why would you want to install wood floors? How about these great reasons...
hardwood floors offer:
* structural strength to properties
* a sense of hominess and warmth
* a sense of permanence
* old-world reliability
* a strong selling point when reselling properties.
What about price, you wonder? BuildDirect has this wooden flooring at prices that are comparable to some prices I have seen for linoleum and tile as well as carpeting. So, which would you rather have in your home? Wood flooring or a carpet? I'd take a wooden floor over a carpet any day.
So come on, click on the link above and check this flooring out for yourself. And then get ready to beautify your house :)

I Have No Clue

OOPS!

Okay, so yesterday I messed up big time. Not only did I not type the post correctly, the image is gone so I think it's safe to assume that the hot linked image didn't stick around very long.
Not to be upset, dear drooling readers. To make amends, today you get two, count them, two pictures to ogle. And I know these should be here when I look later on as I uploaded them from my hard drive into blogger :)
See how much I care about you all?

Planet Hollywood

No, I am not saying that people in Hollywood are on a different planet, although I will say that most of them seem to live in their own little world. But, hey, different strokes for different folks, right?
No, this Planet Hollywood is a resort in Las Vegas. Judging from my posts of late you'd think I must really love Las Vegas and, actually, I do like it there. I wish it wasn't so cold inside the casinos but I do like it as a whole :)
So, what's so special about Planet Hollywood right now? How about booking your Vegas vacations there and getting $100 dollars in chips so you can gamble, and hopefully win money, on their money!
If you are already a high roller, with money of your own to gamble with, instead of the $100 in chips you could get a $100 dinner certificate. Hey, even gamblers have to eat sometime.
So, get them bags packed and head for Planet Hollywood. And try your luck at the casino and win those big jackpots!

Happy Tuesday

Bet you thought I was going to post a picture today, didn't you??

Want To Get Away

I hate Winter, I really do. I am not a cold weather person and never have been. Guess you can say that's why i love the desert, it gets cold here and even snows once in awhile, but it certainly is a lot warmer than say, New England! But, still, as I sit here typing and my hands are cold, I think about getting away from here for warmer climes. But, rather than turn on the heater, I'd rather sit here and type and dream about vacation rentals.
I found this lovely site called rentalo that has lots and lots of vacation rentals in such exotic places as Barcelona, Paris and Rome. They also of course offer places a little closer to home such as South Lake Tahoe and Puerto Vallarta. Tahoe is not on my mind as I know darned good and well it gets cold there, they even have skiing close by. Brr. Now, Puerto Vallarta would be much better, sunshine, beaches, girls in bikinis. My kind of vacation place :)
Why Rentalo? According to their website, travel industry experts ranked Rentalo.com as the world's largest online vacation rental company providing vacationers with access to a large inventory of lodging options, and find exclusive deals from vacation homes, condos, inns, and hotels in close to 15,000 worldwide destinations.

More than 5.2 million travelers have successfully booked a property via Rentalo, many directly with the homeowners or property managers. Our database is fully searchable with detailed rental information provided on each listing, including photos, rates, amenities, availability calendars and past renter reviews. Looking for a great deal? See the discounted and special offers section. Also if you are traveling with your dog or cat, no problem, as there are plenty of pet friendly vacation properties to choose in our directory.
How about some sort of guarantee? Rentalo introduces “Worry-Free Lodging Guarantee”
This guarantee is Free and provides up to $5,000 USD of payment protection so that your lodging is worry free. Go ahead, Book with confidence, we got you covered.
So, pack them bags! Click on the link above that says vacation rentals and get ready to leave Winter behind!

Babe of the Day

While you are checking out this lovely lady, please don't strain your eyes. I am not responsible for any injuries that occur while you are ogling, err, reading, my blog :)

Plantar Fasciitis

Okay, okay, calm down dear readers. I know you don't speak Latin or Mecial-ese. I will define Plantar Fasciitis for you.
Plantar fasciitis is a painful inflammatory condition of the foot caused by excessive wear to the plantar fascia that supports the arches of the foot or by biomechanical faults that cause abnormal pronation. The pain usually is felt on the underside of the heel, and is often most intense with the first steps of the day. It is commonly associated with long periods of weight bearing or sudden changes in weight bearing or activity. Obesity, weight gain, jobs that require a lot of walking on hard surfaces, shoes with little or no arch support, and inactivity are also associated with the condition.

Plantar fasciitis was formerly called "a dog's heel" in the United Kingdom. It is sometimes known as "flip-flop disease" among US podiatrists. The condition often results in a heel spur on the calcaneus, in which case it is the underlying condition, and not the spur itself, which produces the pain.
Okay, so now that you have a definition, you must be thinking, now what? Well, here is where I help you out, again. For relief, try night splints - they gently flex the foot and toes overnight to help provide mornings free from chronic pain. So, which one sounds better to you? Constant pain in the mornings when you step out of bed (and will drive you nuts if your job requires that you be on your feet a lot) or some simple relief for the symptoms while you sleep? It's a no-brainer, readers. Take the relief option. Click on the link above and find out for yourself just how simple it can be to relieve these foot pains.

Insure A Safe Trip

How appropriate, that the last business post dealt with traveling to Vegas and this post deals with travel insurance.
Nothing can spoil a trip faster than unexpected things happening, and they always happen when you least expect it.
What if you get sick? Not just the upset stomach from drinking unfamiliar water, but really ill? Will your insurance company back home cover your expenses or will you be on your own? Nobody ever plans on getting seriously ill, or involved in an accident. These things just happen.
Suppose you're healthy as a horse, but the trip is messed up somehow? Suppose your flight home is canceled, or delayed beyond the norm? Then what are you going to do?
With some travel insurance, these fears would be alleviated. The insurance would help you recover from whatever problems may arise.
So, before you plan your next travel adventure, click on the link and check out just how affordable peace of mind can be for you and your family. Don't let anything ruin your vacation or business trip. It truly is better to be safe than sorry.

Feast Or Famine?

Seems like it was a rather quiet week as far as paid posts on this blog go. Every day I would go and check, then sigh as the page loaded and there were no assignments.
Today I went, thinking surely there would be one assignment, as there often is on Friday. Something to write about over the weekend is always a nice thing :)
Imagine my face when the page loaded. Not only was there one assignment, there were eight!
That should keep me busy blogging for a while. Provided, of course, I can tear myself away from my new toy that came in the mail. It's a new (to me) police scanner with 200 channels and search capabilities. Enough stuff to keep me occupied for hours on end. Yes, I am that easily amused, thank you.
So, be sure to read all of my posts, especially the paid posts. Feel free to leave nice comments too. I have no doubt the advertisers will appreciate those more than whatever it is that I write.
And, in honor of my police scanner, the picture for you to drool over is a lovely looking young lady that I am sure no man would mind being arrested and searched by :)

Let's Go To The Strip

Now that the holidays have passed, with all of the stress involved with them, I think we all need a break. And, what better way to get away from all the stress than the las vegas strip?
Now is a great time to go visit Las Vegas, the rates are low. How about Boulder Station for as low as 25 dollars a night? With that price, it leaves you a lot of green to gamble with. And, who knows, you might win more than you ever dreamed of. Jackpot!
So, get your things together in an overnight bag, run to the bank and grab some cash and head on over to the Las Vegas strip and try your luck at gambling. Or, enjoy any of the great amenities that Vegas has to offer. From golfing to bowling to all the tourist attractions like Hoover Dam, there's bound to be something for everyone that you take along with you.
So, don't let the frazzle of the holiday season stay with you any longer. Click on the link above and set your sights on Fabulous Las Vegas. You body and mind will thank you for the break.

Ignore This Post

This is just something I need to write down for myself so I can explain it l;ater to someone else :)
The mailman came to my door to tell me that this address thing with the two houses is confusing as all get out. I told him not to feel lonely, it is confusing to us too.
According to him, the postal service says my address is 609 east avenue k-4 because the house I live in is sitting where 609 was before the owner tore it down and built two houses. So, there is no A or B just 609 k-4 and whatever address he gave to the brand new house in the front. No wonder he's confused LOL
As we were talking I saw my neighbor walking across the street from the mailboxes and headed back to his house. He looked pissed off so I guess the mailman talked to him too and he was not amused. Oh well!
I do not care what address they give me so long as I can get my mail. They can tell me the address is on Mars for all I care LOL
Anyways, I know this isn't sitting well with my lovely woman but it appears there is nothing to do but accept the address and move forward.
What we will have to do is make sure that all the utility comapnies get the address straight. I do not want my neighbors bills and I doubt he will want mine either LOL

Back To My Balls

It's finally bowling night again after a two week holiday layoff. So, I leave you all with this lovely picture. And I don't mind saying I would gladly go bowling with any of these lovely women any day of the week. Heck, I wouldn't even care about my bowling score LOL

More Bailout?

I wondered how long before someone came up with more bailout ideas for Congress. Why not keep bailing folks out? Pretty soon the government will have their hands in every businesses pockets LOL
LOS ANGELES

Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt and "GirlsGone Wild" founder Joe Francis announced Wednesday that they have asked Congress for a $5 billion federal bailout to help the adult entertainment industry during the economic downturn.
"People are too depressed to be sexually active," Flynt said. "This is very unhealthy as a nation. Americans can do without cars and such but they cannot do without sex."

"Congress seems willing to help shore up our nation's most important businesses," he said. "We feel we deserve the same consideration. In difficult economic times, Americans turn to entertainment for relief. More and more, the kind of entertainment they turn to is adult entertainment."

According to Flynt and Francis, adult DVD sales and rentals have decreased by 22 percent in the past year.

Francis said the money for the $13 billion industry would be "just to see us through hard times."

"With all this economic misery and people losing all that money, sex is the farthest thing from their mind," Flynt said. "It's time for Congress to rejuvenate the sexual appetite of America. The only way they can do this is by supporting the adult industry and doing it quickly."

Double Picture Day

The cable guy finally got to the house to hook up the cable. Hooray! I don't really watch much television, but I can tell you that I miss it when there's none! LOL And my poor woman has been sorely missing Nancy Grace, although I don't know why as I cannot stand that arrogant excuse for a television personality.
But, hopefully in a little while the cable man will be done installing cable and we can watch whatever trips our individual triggers again :)
In the meantime, I realized that all I have been showing you is pictures of lovely, sexy ladies in high heels. So today I shall post two pictures for your enjoyment, one of a woman in heels and one of a man in heels. It's up to you to figure out which one is which LOL

Monday, Doing Nothing

Just sitting around the house today, waiting for the landlord to come and pick up his rent check. Kind of windy and cold looking outside so I am happy to stay inside by the heater LOL
If you'd like to know what's going on, feel free to go to this other blog.
If you don't, then feel free to just click on this picture of a very sexy young lady and ogle her to your hearts content :)

Holiday Do You In?

Celebrate just a tad too much during the holidays? Feeling a little wobbly after New Year's Eve partying? I highly suggest you click on the picture and stare at this lovely young nurse. I felt much better after looking at her and I wasn't even ill LOL
If after you check out the lovely young lady and her sexy red heels you still aren't feeling up to snuff I suggest more bed rest or a visit to your doctor.

What Time Is It

So many people these days use their cell phones as a watch, which seems rather silly since so many of them rarely remember where they put the phone, or it is buried in their purse somewhere amongst the loose change or whatever else is hiding in the bag. If you are one of those people, it's time you went back to using a watch!
But, what kind of a watch? How about Fossil watches? Just what is a fossil watch? Fossil watches are a great selection of varying syles from this one:

to something a little more extraordinary, like this one:

While I would myself prefer the first watch, I'm sure there are many that would choose a different style, and, that's okay. This site has more styles of watches than one can imagine. And the nice part is that the site is very easy to check out, listing watches not only by brand but also by price ranges. I like a site that is easy to navigate like this one, where it doesn't take all day for the pages to load and confuse a person. Since buyers are there looking for watches to purchase, why make things difficult? Kenmar does not do that. I don't have the fastest computer in the world and the pages loaded super quickly for me and I could see all the watches on the different pages in no time at all. As a buyer, sites like Kenmar are a definite plus to me :)
So, give this site a chance to dazzle you and get yourself a new timepiece. Stop looking for that cellphone and just look at a lovely piece of jewelry on your wrist. It's so much simpler.
