Weird

Yesterday was nice and sunny when I woke up. It was warm in this house, too warm, actually. I got up and came to the living room to find that the heater was on which is always nice for me in the mornings as I use it to loosen up my arthritic joints. But, the heater was sitting around 80 degrees and had been trying hard to bake the house.
This morning I woke up and looked out the bedroom window and saw that it was cloudy and windy and I was cold, very cold. I got up and came into the living room to find the heater is off. WTH? It's a nice day the heater is on, it's cold and funky outside and the heater is off? I think my daughter is backwards LOL

In other news, computer-wise, it is looking more and more like I will have to delete Ubuntu and start over. Today it is acting strangely. I tried to look in some folders that I know are on the computer and it gives me an error message that no such files exist. Not that big of a deal until it gave me the same error message when I told it to let me look at the hard drive :(

Food Storage

I was just looking in the refrigerator for something and I see that it is a mess. It looks worse than a bachelor's refrigerator and that is definitely not a pretty sight!
It appears that my wife and daughter need to educate themselves on proper food storage. Some foods just do not keep well when tossed into the refrigerator on a shelf. They need protection, some sort of plastic container with lids to keep them fresh. Some things in that refrigerator are unidentifiable, like a grade school science project.
I hope that you, dear reader, do not keep your foods in the refrigerator like that. Buy some Tupperware or cheap imitation thereof so that your foods can stay fresher longer and, more importantly, be easily identified the next time you open the refrigerator door looking for something to eat.
I quickly closed the refrigerator door as there is nothing I saw that I would trust to eat. My two girls are out shopping at the moment and will have to clean that box out once they get home. I'm sure that neither of them will welcome that task!

OOPS

Okay...this is silly. I tried to use the update manager in Ubuntu and I have to authorize things by typing in my password which I did. Then it does absolutely nothing.
It runs a little timer on the screen for a long time then stops and does nothing. GRRRRR.
It is beginning to look more and more like I have tweaked something that is stopping Ubuntu from doing what I need it to do. I may still have to remove Ubuntu from that hard drive and start all over from scratch. I do not want to do that.
In the meantime, I am still using Ubuntu at this moment even and it is working just fine. Maybe I don't need the updates or maybe, if I am truly lucky, it will wish to do the updates by itself at a later time.
So, as long as it is working I am not going to tweak it any more, just leave it be.

Apidexin

Maybe it's my getting older or just being forgetful, period, but I know I have heard of apidexin before but I could not remember what it is so, being a typical computer user, I went and looked it up on a search engine. Search engines are the savior of the computer world. It is a fat burner.
Not just any old fat burner though if you look at the website where you can buy apidexin. According to the site, one can lose four to seven pounds per week without much effort. Eat less, burn more fat is their claim to fame and I have to admit it all sounds good.
If you are trying to lose weight, like most people these days, you really want to see fast results not sometime in the distant future. And, apidexin says you can have that wish come true.
Go to the website, check out the success stories there and see for yourself if apidexin is the right choice for you. Then, as I always suggest, take that information with you and discuss it with your physician. Your doctor knows your body better than you and will gladly assist you in making the right choices for that body. I have never seen a doctor yet that wouldn't help their patients in their weight loss endeavors.
Check out apidexin today, you'll be glad you did.

If I Only Had Brains

I'd be dangerous if I actually knew what I was doing sometimes. I downloaded the Sick Puppy Linux but now I cannot for the life of me remember how in the heck I got the Ubuntu to work.
I wanted to use both Ubuntu and Sick Puppy but Ubuntu does not recognize that the Puppy is there when I boot up.
Here i thought this was going to be something easy. Leave it to me to mess sonething simple up.
Back to the drawing board as they say. In the meantime, I do have some other work I need to be doing, it is due today so I best stop playing around and procrastinating and get it done.

Acne Treatments

If you are watching a sit-com and one of the kids in that show has a zit it's funny to watch them react to their acne disaster. That's television life.
However, if you are one of the many that is suffering through your own acne dilemma, there is absolutely nothing humorous about it. You want to get rid of those pimples as fast and effectively as you can. That is real life.
But you need to find one that will work on your skin, not everyone elses. Who cares about their pimples? Certainly not you.
Where do you go to find out what are the best acne treatments that work? You can spend countless hours, days even, researching these things on your own. That might take your mind off of your pimples but is it worth the effort when someone else has already done the research for you? Of course not.
Check out the products on the website and find one that best suits your individual needs. Make sure that it won't kill your wallet or pocketbook. Then order the product, and, once it arrives at your house, use it and get rid of those unsightly acne pimples.
Once you have gotten rid of yours, feel free to go back to watching sit-coms and laugh at other people's acne disasters.

Telephone?

I do a few PTC sites every day, some to help myself out, some to help a friend out more than me. I think he probably makes more since I am his referral than I make but it's okay.
One of the things that surprises me with the ads that I look at is how many still as, under request more information, is your telephone number. In this day and age with the internet everywhere including your cell phone why do they still ask for your phone number?
I am currently dealing with a company that has a business online. I signed up for a free trial of their service and then decided to cancel it. But, here's the corker, I cannot do this online. Say, what?
If you have a business that is online then you should be able to do everything online.
Get into the century you are in folks. The twentieth century of telephones is gone. If you do things on the net then do not ask me to call you or ask me for my phone number. It isn't going to get you anywhere.

Southern Shores

Post removed by request :)

Tired Today

I'm tired. I got lots of sleep but I guess it was not that good and restful. I woke up feeling tired and, several hours later, I am still tired.
I was hoping to tweak Ubuntu but I think it best I wait for another day, one in which I feel more awake.
Sometimes, Life and an old body get in the way of things.

Grandparents

One of the other moderators on the game site I play on is a very proud grandmother. She takes pictures like there is no tomorrow. And, being a proud grandparent, she shares them with us on Skype and email.
She has taken so many pictures I'm sure her camera is about to give up the ghost. Soon she is going to need more cameras. A regular digital camera and a video camera so she can record every move the grandson makes.
The Source has everything she could possibly want as far as digital cameras go and some really nice prices to go along with them. The site also has reviews from customers so a person can see just how good a person thought the product is. That helps because you know all you're going to get out of a manufacturer or business is hype.
If you are like my friend and like to take lots and lots of photos of your grandchildren or maybe even your own kids if they are little then you too should go check out the cameras and other equipment available at The Source.

Oh Oh

I've been tweaking away on Ubuntu and now there is a program that I want to uninstall but I can't. *sigh* I followed the programs instructions for uninstalling it and no dice. Then I found some instructions for removing it on the net and still no dice.
I hope that I don't have to uninstall Ubuntu and start over but I really need that program gone. I'm too tired to mess with it at the moment and I have lots to do tomorrow so I may not get to it for a few days.

Thermal Printers

So you have a business, a real storefront type of business, not an online one. And you need to keep the customers as happy as you can so that they will return to your store often. Repeat customers, along with good word of mouth advertising, is the key to a successful business. One of the best ways to keep a customer happy is to give them the advantage of returning items purchased if they are not right.
To accomplish this you need to give them a receipt for their purchases. One of the best ways to do this is with a receipt printer. Not only is this good for the customer, it is good for the business as well. Thermal receipt printers offer quiet, speedy performance at the point of sale. With thermal receipt paper as the only consumable, thermal receipt printers can offer a lower total cost of ownership over the lifetime of the hardware. See? It will save you money in the long run!
No matter what your point of sale needs may be, there is most likely a solution on this website. Take a look around the site and see for yourself. Don't see exactly what POS items you need? Talk to the customer service experts at 1-800-241-6264. Let them assist you so that you will be a happy customer too.

Similarities

While Ubuntu and Windows are very different types of programs they do share some similarities.
I upgraded yesterday from Ubuntu 10.4 to 10.10. That's a big jump but I notice that I see no differences, really. Somewhat akin to upgrading from one Windows version to another. I'm sure there are some differences but they are not noticeable at all.
I am amazed at how much faster Ubuntu can be compared to Windows XP though. The only true speed that the two share is in starting up. They both take about the same amount of time to load the basic start up programs. The difference? Windows gives you something to look at usually while Ubuntu gives you text about Ubuntu LOL
If I can ever figure out how to open the game site lobby with Ubuntu I cannot seriously see myself going back to using XP.
There are similarities, but Ubuntu takes the prize overall.

Share Those Photos

The day most men dread the most, Valentine's Day, is rapidly approaching. I say men dread it because it just seems like they spend too much time thinking of what to get their lover or how much is too much/too little to spend. Why not just buy a gift they will enjoy, like a digital frame with a great photo of the two of you having fun?
Why be tied down to a single picture in an any given frame? In a digital photo frame, your images are only limited to your photos on your memory card. You can change the photo as often as you like, keeping the photo frame looking new and different rather than just the same old photo all the time.
Take photos with your phone? Here is a digital frame that has a bluetooth and an av connection so that you can download them quick. It also can act as a second monitor so that you don't have to strain your eyes looking at a much smaller screen:

Give your loved one a gift they can cherish, a digital photo frame. Just don't tell them you bought it at a really great price!

Ten Point Ten

Spent a little over an hour upgrading my Ubuntu from 4.10 to 10.10. Lots of files in Ubuntu, I can tell you that.
I tried quickly to get Java installed into the Wine program but it didn't work. Looks like I need to do some more research as well as some tweaking. I hope I don't tweak Ubuntu into oblivion. I hate to tweak these days.
Years ago I sat for endless hours doing programming. These days I no longer have the patience, the desire or the energy. Or, I hate to admit, the eyesight.

Home Theater

Imagine turning your den or other "television" room into a home theater, complete with reclining seats and the amenities that movie theaters have, like popcorn machines. Kick back, relax and truly enjoy programs and movies on your high definition or wide screen television set or home theater equipment. Invite family and friends over for a movie night and have a blast! All you need is the right home theater furniture. But, you wonder, where can you get all this stuff?
Stargate Cinema carries home theater accessories and unique cinema decor for your entertainment and decorating needs. Fully customizable Berkline Home Theater Seating, commercial grade Cinema Style Home Theater Seating, professional popcorn machines, poster cases & frames, cinema decor and theater signs are the finishing touches you need to make your home theater more realistic. They carry the home theater accessories that create an authentic movie theater experience.
Just think how shocked and delighted your friends and family will be once they see your "theater". Much nicer than going to any movie theater and dealing with chairs that may or may not work properly, sticky floors and, of course, the high ticket prices just to get inside the show or buy refreshments! Much better this way, the comfort of your own home, no rowdy kids throwing popcorn or being loud and obnoxious, perfect for movie viewing.
Think of the last movie theater seat you sat in. Now, think about sitting at home watching a movie in this one:

Click on the image and open in a new tab or window to get the entire seating picture. Now, be honest. Which seat do you prefer? Head on over to Stargate Cinema and check out all the fine furniture and other goodies and get started on your very own theater at home.

Easy, My Foot

I've been working on using my Ubuntu program for a while now and I really do like it. It makes most things I do online so much faster than XP ever could. For instance I can take care of three Zynga Cafe Worlds as fast as I used to do one on XP. What a great time saver!
Unfortunately for me Ubuntu is not Java friendly. The game site where I moderate chat is a Java program of some sort and will not run on Ubuntu. I did find some instructions from one of the players on how they got theirs to work with Linux and I have followed their instructions but it refuses to run the Java program so that another program can simulate Windows.
Supposed to be super easy. Sure, until I try it. *sigh* So I have done the next best thing. I have asked two people that are Linux users of a long time how to get Java into Wine.
Sounds kind of silly, Java into Wine. I mean, who would want coffee in their wine or vice-versa? LOL

I don't care

In the game room that I moderate chat for there are many players from all over the globe. Some of them truly do struggle with English and sometimes get frustrated when I or another Mod has told them they must use English only. I can sympathize with their problem and I try to be lenient with them and tell them to do the best that they can or use a translator. I have to laugh at the translators though as even they sometimes don't get English quite right.
Some foreign players swear they don't speak English. They tell us that IN English! LOL And, if you tell them that you will take away their chat if they don't use English it is surprising how many of them can actually swear in English! Not bad for not knowing the language.
But the players that always crack me up and make the mods job easier is when they have been told that you will take away their chat they reply with "I don't care". If they don't care, I don't care either. Simple enough. It's just too bad that these are the players that so frequently complain that the mods took away their chat for three hours or however long the ban was. Gee, I thought they didn't care.

Lipofuze

Sounds like a new version of liposuction, but it isn't. It does have to do with the body though and your weight. Lipofuze is a weight loss supplement that claims you can lose ten pounds in seven days. that is a dramatic loss of weight in such a short period of time. Imagine yourself ten pounds lighter in one week just from taking Lipofuze. Pleasant thought, isn't it?
Of course, all diet pills, supplements and even diets make claims such as this. Some are true, some are not. It is up to you to research these things for yourself to see what's what. Don't have the time or the inclination for such an endeavor? No problem. The website has done the research for you. All you need to do is surf yourself over there and read what they have to say about Lipofuze and see if it is a right fit for you.
Then, as I always suggest, take that information and discuss it with your doctor. He knows what your body can and cannot handle. Best to be safe, not sorry. I'm sure your doctor will be happy that you wish to lose some weight and will most likely also offer you tips on an exercise plan to go along with it.
Now, close your eyes for a moment. Imagine yourself slimmer. Ten pounds slimmer in the course of only one week.

Ubuntu versus XP

I've been using Ubuntu for a few days now and I have to say I like it. I get frustrated by the constant updates to it though, especially when they decide to update 1500 files all at once as this takes an enormous amount of time even with DSL.
I also have now downloaded VirtualBox but have yet to quite figure out how to get Windows XP to work on Ubuntu. Maybe because I am not a computer whiz kid. I know it can be accomplished I just need to find the directions and translate them into ordinary English instead of the computer geek language they are written in now.
All in all though I do think that Ubuntu is confusing at first it is as easy or easier to use than Windows. I am using Ubuntu now as I sit here typing this blog entry.
I do need Windows for some things though as not every program in the computer world is Linux compatible. The game site where I moderate the chat lobby for instance is not Linux friendly. So, I definitely need XP for that! I have a few programs on XP that I'm sure are the same way so I will spend the next few days trying to figure out how to get VirtualBox to work and I'll let you know if I succeed or fail.

Women And Vitamins

Seems like, the longer I live the healthier young people want to be. When I was very young seemed like nobody was all that health conscious beyond trying their best not to get sick from flus or colds or things of that nature. Now days there are health fads and such everywhere and young folks are trying their best to keep abreast of what is what and stay as healthy as they can be. One of the ways they do this is by taking vitamins.
Vitamins have been around for a long, long time. Heck they even had vitamins when I was a kid and that was long ago. I took them as a teenager because I was anemic and the doctor told me to take them, otherwise I never would have. Today people don't wait for the doctor's orders, they do it voluntarily.
One of the things that has changed dramatically through my years is the development of different vitamins for different peoples. From gummi bear vitamins for children to specific vitamins for old folks like me there are vitamins for everyone. You have to be careful that you take the correct vitamin. For instance it wouldn't do me all that much good to take vitamins for women because I am not a female. Not sure what they would do and I do not wish to find out.
If you are female though you do need vitamins that are specific for your gender. Women's vitamins dot org has selected the top three vitamins for women and their specific needs. From helping keep your hormones balanced to losing weight to pre-natal vitamins to help you during those long nine months this site has the info you need.
Remember to choose the one that fits you, your basic needs and your wallet. Times are tough, no sense wasting your money on something you do not need. Find one that fits you then buy them. Then comes the really hard part, remembering to take them every day. Bear in mind that bottle of vitamins will not do you any good sitting in a cabinet somewhere.

Ubuntu part two

Okay, so I installed Ubuntu then had the pleasure of watching it update 1224 files. And I have used it a few times now and it seems to work pretty well for surfing the internet.
I cannot use some programs that I have on Windows which is disheartening. So, today I downloaded a virtual machine program so I can (supposedly) run both Linux and Windows at the same time.
The problem with the Virtual box program is that Ubuntu says it opened it but I cannot find it anywhere! I tried a file search but came up empty. I didn't have time to play with it today but I will try again tomorrow.
The thing I really like about Ubuntu at the moment is how quickly it works with Zynga games. On Windows XP it took what seemed like forever to work in Cafe World. With Ubuntu, no problem.
The other thing that has me sold right now is the lack of errors I am getting. I play on Marapets all the time and on Xp it doesn't usually take too long before it slows to a crawl then gives me a message saying I have run out of Virtual Memory. I have yet to see any error messages on Ubuntu ecept for when I've asked it to do something it cannot do. Guess it doesn't understand typos lol

Prices Xposed

Okay, so the holidays are over, and I hope everyone had a great holiday season. Hopefully you didn't put on too many pounds while eating all those cakes and pies and fudge and other goodies. But, if you did, you need to visit this website and find yourself some good weight loss pills.
Winter is here and you can hide those extra pounds underneath layers of clothing to keep you warm but what are you going to do when Spring gets here and you're wearing less layers? Only so many excuses you can make, you know. Now is the time to seriously think about losing that weight.
Before you do this though you have to decide what pills will work for you and your body. Every body is different so what works for one may not always work for another. Plus you have to decide what is a good fit for your wallet. Do your homework before making a decision.
Then, once you've made your choice, take that information and discuss it with your doctor. He knows your body better than you do as far as medicines and such go. Always best to be safe!
Prepare for warmer weather and less clothing. Show off the new you when warmth finally arrives in your location. Be proud of your new body and show it off!

Ubuntu?

I am seriously considering a switch of operating systems. I'm tired of all the Windows crashes and freezes just because my computer isn't a giant server hooked into some humongous speed freak of an internet connection and filled with lots and lots of memory.
The other thing that has me bugged is I now know why so many hackers like Microsoft Windows. Watching my computer start up I see that I am connected to the internet long before Microsoft Security Essentials is turned on to "protect" my computer. Shouldn't Security come first??
I have a nice computer. An HP with one gig of RAM which should be more than enough to run the simple programs that I run and surf the net. But, more and more of late, Windows just isn't cutting the mustard.
Someone suggested Ubuntu and I am looking into it to see if I can use it. My primary concern will be can I use it to access the game lobby that I am a chat moderator in. If not then I will have to switch back and forth between Ubuntu and Windows and that would stink.
I am a careful investigator where computer programs go so Time will tell if Ubuntu works for me or not.

Make That Bed

I admit it, my bed is not the prettiest site you'll ever see. In fact, it may be one of the worst you've seen as it often is unmade and the sheets and covers are old and should be replaced. I keep telling myself it's time for some new linens but I usually think of this when I am about to go to sleep. Perhaps I should avail myself of some nice things for the bed like ann gish linens. That would make the bed look much nicer and I am certain it will please my wife as well.
I have to admit I really like the looks of this set:

I could do without the lovely image on the wall behind it though, might make my wife a tad jealous since she doe not look like that. But the linens look fantastic!
They even have some great pillow cases there. My wife must be a rough sleeper because she often manages to remove the pillow case from her pillow while she sleeps. Maybe it's because they, like the sheets, need to be replaced.
At any rate, fine linens dot com is a great site for linens and other things, like guest towels for the bathrooms in your home. Don't want guests using any old towel, do you? Of course not!
Check out all the wonderful items on the site and replace your own bedding. And, once you have some nice stuff, make that bed!

System Resources

Yesterday afternoon the computer went all crazy with bits and pieces of windows all over the place. I had no clue what caused it so I just chalked it up to the usual Windows defects and rebooted.
Last night, late, it happened again! Only this time I managed to see the error message, it said I was out of system resources. How the heck does that happen? I didn't have anything out of the ordinary running that I knew of. So, I rebooted the computer and ran several anti-viral programs and the Windows Security essentials program as well just to be sure. All that got me was very sleepy as I had already taken Tylenol PM and those programs took forever to run. No viruses though so that's good!
I'm still not sure what is going on here but if it continues to happen I am gonna be real upset. I might give up on Windows and switch to Linux. Maybe Linux works better. I've been told that before so maybe it is true.

I Am Rich

I play on a game site called Marapets and I have so much money there it isn't funny. I have 110 million Marapoints in the bank, another ten million in my shop till and half a million outside to buy things with. I am beyond wealthy there!
Marapets is a fun site with pets for you to do things with and games to play, some are fairly simple, others are more difficult. Most of the people there are young but there also are a lot of adults on the site as well.
My joy has been in buying things from Marapets shops and reselling them in my shop and I have done incredibly well at it judging from my money total. My wife plays there, as does my daughter, but neither of them have as much money as I do probably because they keep shopping for costumes and things that are very expensive. Me, I am a miser LOL
It's just too bad that real life cannot be as easy and as profitable as Marapets.

Open That Door

In an earlier post i talked about the garage being cold because it's Winter, and I think you all know that already. Anyone that has to go out in the morning and start their car knows that it is cold and your car might take a while to warm up.
While this can be a pain, it isn't as bad as you actually having to open up that garage door in the cold to either get out or back into the garage with that car. What you need is an automatic garage door opener. One click of the button and, whoosh, the door is opened for you so that you never have to get out of your nice warm car.
Why should you shop at this website? North Shore Commercial Door Company offers a full line of garage door parts including circuit boards, radio controls and repair parts. If you need a part, odds are they have it. That's a good reason right there!
You say you do not have a automatic garage door? You still have a regular door that you have to open yourself? Well, they can help you with that too. More often than not those old garage doors have springs that seem to break and North Shore has springs so that you can replace those old ones and make your old fashioned garage door easier to open.

Almost

Woke up this morning and felt okay. Ear still plugged though and that bugs me. I tried allergy medicine yesterday to see if that would help but all it seemed to do was dry up my nose. Oh great LOL
After I had a cup of coffee I started hacking like there was no tomorrow, getting rid of a lot of mucus though so it was worth it. Suddenly, my ears popped! Hooray! I thought.
Unfortunately, several minutes later they closed back up again, back to where they were. The left ear is about 80 percent clear and the right one is like I am deaf. But, the important thing is that I now know for certain that the ear plugging is connected to the crud that refuses to leave my system.
There is hope!

Faucets

Winter is not a time for most folks that is conducive to do it yourself projects. Face it, it's pretty cold out there in the garage. better to stay inside and become a couch potato, watching sports on television, right? Wrong!
You're already planning on spending your time indoors where it is warm and dry so this is a great time to think about replacing your old, funky looking faucets.
Faucet dot com offers a wide selection of gorgeous faucets and fixtures that will not only improve the looks of your kitchen or bathroom but will delight your spouse as well. Think of the brownie points you can make with your missus! From Afina to Vigo you are sure to find the brand and price you want so that you can replace those faucets. If you are feeling really energetic they even have sinks so that you can replace the whole shebang at the same time!
Forget about football, hockey or old movies on television. Get back into the do it yourself mode and replace those faucets!

Drool

Babies drool. Some people that have little to no control over their facial muscles drool. Really old people drool. So, why me? Have I, at sixty, become really old? Have I lost control of my facial muscles?
I have noticed that I have started to drool, a lot, when I am sleeping. I am hoping it is simply due to the cough drops I have been sucking on as I fall asleep so as to not keep my wife awake all night long with this silly cough. A cough, I should add, that is quite violent at times. I've had it since I got pneumonia and it hasn't gone away yet, still hacking away at whatever phlegm is still residing deep within me. It is upsetting though to awaken every day with a beard that is all wet and sticky.
I suppose I could just blame it on old age but I don't want to think of myself as being "that" old.

Cell Phones

I probably should have let my wife write this blog, she is a cell phone fanatic. She looks at every cell phone that comes out and starts to drool. She'd love to have a Blackberry phone but hasn't bought one yet, I'm not sure if Virgin Mobile even allows their users to use one of those.
Me, I have a cell phone that I can use to text people or (gasp) even call them or I can surf the internet though I never have. Closest I've come to being on the net is when I have checked my cell phone balance. I am not a big cell phone person, although I realize that most people think they would die or, at the very least, be lost without their cell phones.
Seems as though the world of cell phones is trying their best to replace home computers. I remember on my last train trip to Washington that there were a few people surfing online with their cell phones ( and grumbling when the mountains blocked their signals). I think there were more people using their cell phones for that purpose than there were those who had laptops and wireless connectivity.
If you are one of the many that must have the latest and greatest cell phone then this site is for you. They have tons of cell phones from the simple to the Apple Iphone. They also have news from different cell carriers to keep their customers up to date on what's happening and where. that's kind of nice.
Already have the latest and greatest cell phone? This site also has computers, laptops, gaming stuff and other goodies that will attract your attention. So, go, check out the site and grab something good for yourself.

Lazy, Lazy

I'm lazy today. Lazier than usual, if you like. I have things I need to do and some things I wanted to do, but I haven't done much of anything.
I know I am never going to be a day person, no matter how much I know I should be. Even with roughly eight hours of sleep I wake up groggy if it's early morning. Let me sleep until noon and I am better.
I have been up for four hours and still have zero motivation. I ate breakfast, drank several cups of coffee, played on Marapets a little and am now ready for a nap.
So, tell me, why does work get in my way??

Never Ending

It has been over a month since I first got sick and then ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. I am still not over it all.
I have spent days coughing up snot and I am tired of it as well as just plain tired :( The other night I coughed so hard for so long that I swear to God there was a jet airplane inside my ear!
I think this wouldn't be all that bad if my poor ears would just unplug. I'm rather tired of saying "huh?" and "what?" every time someone tries to talk to me. I'm sure my two females are tired of it too.
One can only hope that, eventually, this crud will go away and leave me alone. It isn't going to be today though, I already know that. I woke up coughing my fool head off and now am running to the bathroom to sit on the throne. Not a good day at all :(

Easy Spirit

Looking out my kitchen window I see snow, snow and more snow. Okay, maybe just an inch or two, not snow like they get in most parts of the country, but snow nonetheless. Not a day I would want anyone to be walking in dress shoes, this is the day to go walking in an athletic shoe, like easy spirit shoes.
Easy Spirit shoes are not only comfortable to wear they have an Anti-Gravity® System with millions of lighter-than-air nitrogen micro-bubbles to absorb shock, return energy, and reduce weight. They also have a flexible rubber sole to help you keep a smooth footing no matter what you may be walking in, like snow!
You might be thinking that you are not planning on walking anywhere, but you would be wrong. Think of it, how many times to you drive somewhere, park your car and then walk to your final destination? Shopping, going in to work, going to a movie theater, you walk a lot more than you may realize. Why not walk in comfort? Take care of your feet, you only get two of them and they have to last you a long, long time. And walking is good for your health, so get yourself some great shoes at a great price and start walking!
