Scary picture

I mentioned this photo in an earlier post and thought it only fair to scare you with it errr I mean share it with you. lol

Memories Of Days Past

Spent a lot of time today looking through old high school pictures online from my high school. yep, I actually found mine! Scary picture there. So of course I had to go looking for people I knew, like my ex and my kids and friends that popped into my head as I surfed. I like things that remind me of the past, I always have. It isn't just because I am old. Then I found this website that at first reading things definitely made me think of days long past. This company has been around since 1875! That makes then 125 years older than me, so that's pretty darned impressive. According to their website: In 1862, Armand Roger and Charles Gallet formed a partnership based on research and creativity, striving to modernise the perfumery universe with original shapes and olfactive innovations. Forerunners to modern cosmetics, they invented the first face powder and lipsticks, and gave new meaning to the art of modern toiletry. Today, their line of soaps, perfumes, deodorants, and shower gels grace the bathrooms and powder rooms of all who wish to carry on a tradition of French elegance and artistic creativity. Way to go, roger & gallet. The website still offers fragrances for sale in pretty containers and all but they also offer other things, like soaps and bath and body type items. And the prices are very nice too and, all my regular readers know I like to save money when I shop! If you are interested in bath and body items or scents or perhaps, like me, you just like to take a short trip through past times, check out the website for yourself.

Google?

I got this incredibly silly email this morning: Hello Site Owner/Webmaster, It has recently come to our attention that our website http://logfurnitureplace.com has been penalized by Google for "Unnatural Link Building". In an effort to reduce the penalty, and prevent any penalties from occurring to your website, we are requesting that you remove all links pointed to http://logfurnitureplace.com as soon as possible. This did not come from Google, not that it would matter. Frankly I do not care what Google does or does not do, I use it as a search engine most of the time and it does that job well enough. As far as Google being able to tell me what I can post in my blog or not that's a whole different story. To that I say Stuff it, Google! This is my blog and I put in it whatever I wish. Don't like it, don't read it. Want to change my Google rank? Who cares? I don't even know what my Google rank is. I did, when I first started blogging, run here and there to see who ranked me what. But then it took valuable time away from me so I quit chasing the rank and just write my blogs instead :) Google thinks it is like Microsoft or something lol Both companies have gotten way to big for their britches it seems...

Navy Shirts

Somewhere, perhaps everywhere, there is a group called blue falcon. Doing a search engine search shows that Blue Falcon has a lot of different items from cartoon characters to video game carts to soldiers. Since the website says Navy Shirts and is called Ranger Up I am fairly certain the shirts here have nothing to do with Mario or cartoons. Blue Falcon as far as military things go appears to be not very nice, a soldier that passes along his duties to another soldier, screwing that soldier over. In my younger days I believe that term was a goldbrick. Times change and so do soldiers I guess. The shirts on sale here are very nice looking shirts though, shirts that any man, soldier or not, would appreciate wearing. This, for instance, is the Blue Falcon shirt:

There are lots of shirts to choose from on this website and not all of them refer to something l\akin to the Blue Falcon shirt. Some of them are downright silly to me, like the I club hippies shirt with a picture of a club as seen on playing cards rather than the word club. How about "My Ops are Blacker than your Ops"? See? These shirts are intended to be fun. They also have a number of shirts for the ladies as well as caps for every head. So, if you are looking for a gift for a serviceman or servicewoman or even a veteran of the service, go and check out the variety of shirts and hats and grab one now.

Beaten Down

If it isn't the weather beating me up it is something else, like my COPD. Lately I just feel physically drained. I get more than enough sleep so it isn't that. I really do not know what is going on here but it can stop any time now. The older I get the less I like getting old :(
