Seaweed Products
Seems like everything about the ocean is healthy. Fish is supposed to be brain food and fish oils are good for the skin and digestive systems. Even the sea air seems healthy when you are at the ocean. And of course the waves coming in and out are not only relaxing they can relieve stress quickly.
Kelp is supposed to be a healthy food although I have never tried it as is seaweed. But I don't want to eat seaweed either. However seaweed can be useful in other ways as can be seen by checking out seaweed products from seaweedbathco.
There are a number of seaweed products for the bath, to relax you as well as take away toxins that might be in your skin. They also have seaweed shampoos and conditioners as well as skin care products. Sounds much healthier than actually eating seaweed although I am sure that the creatures that live in the ocean think seaweed is a great meal.
Check out the different products made from seaweed and see for yourself if they are not better for you than the ordinary soaps and such that you are using now.

Winter? Ugh!
Cold and dreary here in the desert today. It has been raining off and on all morning. I checked the weather service and they are calling for temps into the low 20's for tonight with the chance of snow. Ugh!
I'm sure many people here will be thrilled if it snows but I am not one of them. Snow is nice to look at, in pictures lol
Daughter just got a phone call from a friend who is in the next town over and the friend says some snow has fallen over there. Oh, goodie. It can stay there lol
I am always cold at this time of year and I really do not need snow :(

It Figures
Have had my lovely wife's Christmas present planned for a while now, been seeing the item at great prices when I didn't have the money for it. Now I am running out of time and, of course, the prices have skyrocketed! It figures!
Now I must think of something and soon. It is already the tenth of December, only 2 weeks left to figure out what to buy her, find a day when I have the stamina to do it and get her present. God help me!
I don't often miss being able to run out and shop but when it comes time for present buying I miss that ability a lot. It stinks to get old and decrepit :(

Thrust
If you are a handyman or a do it yourself kind of person chances are good that you work around a variety of machines. You also know that machines break down from time to time, usually when you need them the most. And it is often just something simply has worn out, like thrust bearings.
Whenever a machine has moving parts, be it an Rolls Royce automobile or a Hoover Vacuum cleaner to a power drill, things break. It is a fact of life that we all accept, and many people just repair these machines and move on with Life. If you need a thrust bearing though, where do you find this?
Reid Supply has all types covered including ball thrust bearings and needle roller thrust bearings, plus a selection of accessories to help. They have a stock of 180 different products so the one that you need is bound to be in there. And, since they have been in business over sixty years, you know it is a company that you can trust.
Don't let your machinery sit around broken and idle, check out the parts at Reid Supply and fix it so you can get back to the business of handyman things.

How Sad
While discussing a Barbie doll my 20 year old wants for Christmas she wondered if I knew where they come from. I know she meant what stores are selling them but I gave her this instead "Probably from China" and I laughed.
I then said, you know, there was a time when things were actually made here in the United States. Her reply makes me sad, not for me per se, but for all of the people in America that are young like her...
"Get over it, hippie!"
