Lipozene

Are you one of the many dieters that have tried the product called lipozene? What good is a diet supplement that will not work to help you rid yourself of those unwanted pounds?

As always I suggest that you take this information to your doctor and discuss it with them before you take them. Do they have side effects that your body cannot handle if they happen? Your doctor knows your body better than anyone, so get their advice.
Also, don't just simply take a diet aid and do nothing else. Try to control what you eat and how much you eat. Get into some sort of exercising plan as well. Again, I urge you to discuss exercise with a doctor, first.
Set a reasonable weight loss goal. Many dieters fail simply because they don't attain the goal they set for themselves. Start with a smaller goal, say ten to fifteen pounds, not fifty! Once you have reached the smaller goal and are feeling better about yourself, set the next level of ten to fifteen pounds. Keep using smaller goals that you can actually reach until all the weight you truly wish to lose is gone.

I Gave Up

Tired of dealing with that computer company in Arizona I finally gave up. I realize full well that no monitor is ever coming to my house from them so the whole thing just becomes a live and learn experience, water under the bridge, move forward.
I found a good deal on a refurbished monitor for the girls. It comes with a keyboard and a mouse which I truly need. The keyboard, anyway. The monitor is a Dell so it should be a nice durable, long lasting monitor. I have my fingers crossed at least! And the nice part is that it is a 17 inch monitor so that should help my wife with her bad eyesight.
The only bad part of the monitor is that it is a CRT monitor, not a flat screen, so it will require more space wherever we set up the computer. But, the best part was the entire package was only forty dollars and it has free shipping. (Please, God, let UPS find my house this time!)
In the meantime the girls seem very happy to be online with their computer. What I do is, each night before I go to bed, I switch the monitor over to their computer. In the mornings while I am sleeping they are able to do the things they wish to do online. Then, once I am up and have had my coffee and visited with my wife for a while we switch the monitor back to this computer. All is good this way :)

Weird Weather

Mother Nature is nuts! There appears to be no sense or logic of any kind in the weather lately. The past 2 days were like Winter, freezing temperatures and wind like crazy. Today is sunny and warm and no wind at all.
My body is not able to get used to something that changes so drastically so quickly. Although I like the weather of today, even though it is still cool here in my kitchen it isn't cold enough that I feel the need to run and turn on the heater.
I just wish Mother Nature would make up her mind, Winter or Autumn. Preferably Autumn LOL
Some days it is difficult to sit here and type as my fingers just do not wish to cooperate. But, I do the best I can to update this blog and do my duties as a game chat moderator :)

Netbooks

After the fiasco with my last computer purchase where it took over one month to actually get a working computer but still no monitor I realize that I should have gone with my first inclination which was to look at netbooks.
I bought an older laptop a while back thinking that was a nice purchase because the computer is portable. It was a nice idea but, because it was an older laptop, the monitor on it doesn't work most of the time. Part of that, I'm certain, is because my daughter used it almost all day and evening and she is careless of how to treat electronic devices. For instance, she sees nothing wrong with coming in the door and tossing her cell phone or Cd player across the room hoping it will land on her bed. The laptop perhaps never stood a chance.
Netbooks are like laptops, they are portable and are a complete computer. Unlike laptops though, netbooks tend to be more durable and can withstand some bad treatment here and there. Looking at the netbooks on this website I see that, for a bit more money, I could have gotten a very nice portable netbook that has a much larger hard drive and more memory than the PC I bought. I'm sure that one of these netbooks might actually outlast the PC I bought also.
Live and learn, I suppose. A hard lesson too. My wife is happy with the PC I bought her but I'm willing to bet that she, and our daughter, would be much, much happier with a netbook. So, I am now saving my money up for a netbook.

Long Winter

At one point in the day it was sunny and warm. Within two hours I was sitting here freezing. My hands are cold as ice. It is going to be a long Winter. It's only November and there are already frost warnings and the weather cannot decide what it wants to be.
I do not like Winter. Never mind my arthritic problems, I have never cared for Winter. Not even as a child when usually children are hoping for snow. I just never liked snow either I guess lol
I am not looking forward to this Winter if it is going to be as bad as it appears it will be. Give me sunshine and warmth!
