One of the things I noticed while I was in the hospital was how many healthcare carts were in use. Seems like everyone had their own little cart to use, be it for medicines or vital signs.
The amazing part to go along with all those carts was how many of them had computers sitting on top of them. Hospitals have really taken advantage of the computer age! Certainly has to be better for those that need the information to not have to rely on a nurse or technician's handwriting abilities. In a hurry people do tend to have less than admirable penmanship.

The economy shows no real signs of vast improvement these days which is sad. Too many people are out of work and wondering where they can find a job, any job. This is more evident to online users I am certain because everywhere we go we are bombarded by advertisements of going back to school and learning a career job in 18 months or less, jobs like nursing or becoming an anesthesiologist.
This may actually be the best route to take if you have such an inclination. Being an anesthesiologist never did look like it was that difficult (although I'm sure they have horror stories like any other medical person) and, judging from past bills I have received from hospitals, they are well paid for their services.
I also see on this website that Anesthesiologist Jobs appear to be plentiful both here in the United States as well as Canada. You can search these jobs by either state or province making it easier to find opportunities in a place you would actually like to live and work.

Some jobs never seem to go out of fashion and healthcare is definitely one of those career choices. Whether it be nursing or some sort of technician there always seems to be jobs available for these people. But, where is the best place to find these jobs?

Short Term Insurance

It has been a rough, make that very rough, Winter. I have been in the hospital twice with lung problems, the worst of which was pneumonia. The cost of these two visits was staggering to say the least. I owe the local hospital almost forty thousand dollars. Since I have no insurance this amount is not good for my wallet!
Too many people have no insurance these days and just go through living day to day praying that they don't get sick and need to see a doctor or, God forbid, be hospitalized like I was. Perhaps they are between jobs or they finally found a job but are not covered by the company insurance plan just yet. These people need to get some Blue Cross short term insurance.
Short term, or temporary insurance is available for many reasons and should be used to cover someone so that they can see a physician when they need one, not just hope that things will go away on their own. And, Blue Cross is one of the most reputable insurance companies around so you should feel confident in their ability to cover all your medical needs.
Don't get stuck with high hospital/medical/pharmaceutical bills like I did. Check out the insurance plans that are available for short term or temporary use. An ounce of prevention is truly worth a pound of cure!

Let's Get Medical

I. like millions of others, hate going to see a doctor. Like most males I wait until things have reached the emergency level before I even think about a doctor. I know this is wrong but I still do it. When I do finally get to see a doctor I do expect them to solve all my aches and pains and ailments. And I expect them to have the best equipment that is available, you know, all the latest medical gadgets with all the bells and whistles.
Because heart problems run in my family with various relatives having heart attacks or strokes, the one piece of equipment that I truly want any doctor to have on hand is the latest and best ekg machine.
While I have not had serious heart issues I do have a history of lung troubles. When I go into an emergency room with chest pains I always am rushed to the nearest EKG machine to make sure it's not a heart attack. Sometimes I wish it were as lung troubles are so much harder to find and solve than heart issues.
If you are a physician or a health care professional then I urge you to have the best possible equipment available for your use. Whether that be a simple thermometer to the latest in EKG machinery I have no doubt that you will be happy to have the best equipment on hand. And I am certain that your patients, especially guys like me that wait for the last moment, will be even happier that you can help them quickly and efficiently.
