There are lots of shirts to choose from on this website and not all of them refer to something l\akin to the Blue Falcon shirt. Some of them are downright silly to me, like the I club hippies shirt with a picture of a club as seen on playing cards rather than the word club. How about "My Ops are Blacker than your Ops"? See? These shirts are intended to be fun. They also have a number of shirts for the ladies as well as caps for every head. So, if you are looking for a gift for a serviceman or servicewoman or even a veteran of the service, go and check out the variety of shirts and hats and grab one now.

Navy Shirts
Somewhere, perhaps everywhere, there is a group called blue falcon. Doing a search engine search shows that Blue Falcon has a lot of different items from cartoon characters to video game carts to soldiers.
Since the website says Navy Shirts and is called Ranger Up I am fairly certain the shirts here have nothing to do with Mario or cartoons. Blue Falcon as far as military things go appears to be not very nice, a soldier that passes along his duties to another soldier, screwing that soldier over. In my younger days I believe that term was a goldbrick. Times change and so do soldiers I guess.
The shirts on sale here are very nice looking shirts though, shirts that any man, soldier or not, would appreciate wearing. This, for instance, is the Blue Falcon shirt:

Holidays Missed
Yesterday was Memorial Day. A day of remembering those who lost their lives serving America. Normally though it is simply a day to celebrate that you did not have to go to work, it is often the first day swimming pools are open and it is un-officially the first day of barbecue season.
When I was a working stiff I always knew when the holidays were. I am not a big fan of holidays but I knew when they were and when I would be off of work. Now that I've been retired for a few years, I usually have no clue when a holiday is arriving, nor do I really care.
Every day is pretty much the same, Sunday through Saturday. Just another day! I do remember them if someone mentions them to me and I do know why we are celebrating those days so I suppose that's something.
I hope that whatever you did yesterday you took a moment to recall why you were not at work.
