Why is it that products hit the market trying to convince the public that it is the best thing ever, only to come out with a new product sometime later saying "new and improved"? If it truly were the best thing ever, how could it possibly be improved? And, of course, there is no way it could be new, it's already been on the market lol
In the internet world, sites are always "improving" their software. I don't know why this is either since, more often than not, all they manage to do is create more glitches and bugs that it may be worth. I wonder if these same people fix their automobiles when there is nothing wrong with them? You know, if something works...leave it alone!
One of the game sites I play on is constantly "improving" their software. They do such a great job that often the site will not load or, if it does, it loads and runs at the pace of a snail. How is that an improvement?
Another one does seek to improve its software and then there are bugs and glitches everywhere. They work very hard at fixing the bugs as they show up which is nice though. They don't take days like some places. I feel bad for the support people that have to do this fixing, even though I know they pretty much brought it upon themselves. Whenever they do an update it is always worth it in the end.
I also feel sorry for chat room mods whenever there is a software update. While these folks help support out by relaying bugs and glitches they also have to put up with irate players in the lobby bitching and moaning about why things are messed up. Game players I have noticed have very little patience for upgraded software. I'm sure that, at times, I am one of those impatient people. Perhaps that is because my brain always goes back to the same thought...If it ain't broken, don't fix it!

Thermals
If you have a business then you know how important it is these days to have a thermal printer like the tm-t88iv. One of the best selling thermal printer lines in the POS industry, The TM-T88IV is fast reliable and proven. The TM-T88IV can also print in two color red and black with special paper.
POS, or Point Of Sale, software and printers are vital to today's businesses. The software allows you to keep better track of your inventory and also what is selling. This allows you to order more of the items that you need the most without the hassles of manually counting your inventory, which is not only time consuming it is a boring task.
It also allows the customer to see a receipt showing exactly what they purchased, not just the price. Should they need to return an item to your business this helps not only them but you. And, on your end, POS software can assist you in your inventory again by adding the item back into the count.
In order for everything to work smoothly it is important to have a great printer so that receipts are printed well and are visible. It's frustrating to get a receipt that is barely readable. You not really need a great printer like the tm-t88iv. You'll be happy with the printer and how well it works and the customers will be happy with how their receipts look.
Check out all the printers and POS software as well as bar code scanners that are available. You're sure to find all the things you need to help you run your business in a more efficient manner, giving you less headaches and more time to enjoy your business.

Things That Make Me Wonder
Why do pitchers still throw a pitch in the dirt when, normally, no batter is going to swing at it (Vlad Guerrero excepted) and the damn pitch often gets by the catcher, advancing the runners that you didn't want to advance?
What is CBS thinking, moving The Mentalist to Thursdays when it did so well on Tuesdays. And worse, why are they putting it up against what will most likely be the Jay Leno show? Seems like a bad programming move to me.
Wonder if someone would get punished for slowly torturing the idiot who invented that stupid box that says "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?". Of course I want to, idiot, that is why I tried to close the window in the first place!
I wonder if all software developers would be better at their jobs if they actually (a) had a life, (b) had any real sense or (c) even had a clue or (d) actually were forced to use the crap they develop without the benefit of a server?
Why do people get so huffy whenever there is a nomination made to the Supreme Court? No matter who they are, these people are not going to please every special interest group out there, nor would I want them to. They are judges, for crying out loud. I don't want them to please anyone, I want them to judge each and every case by its merits and nothing else. Isn't that what judges are supposed to do??
Okay, enough wondering. I am off... and no, not in the head, thank you very much!

Problem solved
The problem with my Yahoo email has been solved, although I am not happy with the results.
In order to see the emails from my Yahoo Groups, which is mostly pictures, I had to switch to the new, improved (yeah, right) Yahoo mail settings.
Why is it when things are working great some software "genius" has to come around and fix it? I'd sure hate to see what these guys would do with a brand new car. They'd probably take the damned thing apart to see why it works! LOL
Speaking of cars, I have to laugh every time I see one of those Ford car ads touting Synch by Microsoft. Let's see, a car that is traditionally not that great (Found On Road, Dead) and a company that makes software that crashes for no reason. What a combination! LMAO

I Hate Computers!
Well, not actually computers per se, since I spend 90% of my waking hours in front of one. Actually it isn't even the computer parts that bug me, although that's part of my problem.
My biggest problem is with a certain software company that makes the operating system. Because they are so afraid that somebody might actually want to steal their product they make it nigh on impossible to swap hard drives and keep all their stuff intact :(
I think I like the 95 version best, you could just copy and paste it onto the new drive, reboot and there you go! But, not with this new version.
So, I now have two hard drives inside, both of them with mostly the same stuff on them, but only one of them will actually boot the computer. So, until I am feeling extremely patient and have tons of time with nothing to do, this is how things will stay. Eventually I may just dump all the programs off the master drive, delete all their shortcuts from the desktop and then go into the slave drive and make new shortcuts pointing to the slave.
But, today is not the day. I am not patient. I am tired and cranky and sore from trying to get things to work earlier. Dealing with two computers doesn't seem that bad, but lifting them and moving them around the room seems to have made my back ache.
As for Mr. I Got More Money Than Damned Near Everyone, I hope you and your software geniuses are happy. Maybe you could spend some of that money on something useful, like fixing your software so that you don't always seem to be coming up with another Security Fix. I'm probably asking way too much...
