Not talking sports here, but I wish I was. Looks like it's been a bad week around this house, with both myself and my wife hurting.
Somehow, and she has no clue as to what she did, Shelly has managed to hurt a muscle in her lower back/buttocks area. If she wasn't constantly saying "ow" I might laugh. But, I value my life a little too much to laugh at that.
As for me, my lower back has been hurting for a few days now. Not sympathy pains either. My back is not the best on a good day, but the past few have been driving me nuts. I reach a point where I actually have to leave the computer and go sit in my overstuffed chair in the living room. I hate leaving the computer LOL
I hope tomorrow is a better day for both of us :) I have a package arriving (I hope) in the morning and I want to be able to pick it up and carry it inside.

Baseball Thoughts
Today was The Pittsburgh Pirates home opener, and, wow, what a game! Duke pitched the entire 9 innings and gave up nothing. Houston managed to get just four hits off of him, scoring zero while the Bucs managed 7 runs on 14 hits off of the Houston Astro pitchers.
The one bummer of the game was the Astro's pitcher,Brian Moehler, who had to leave the game in the third inning with a sprained knee.No matter what sport you are a fan of, I don't know of anyone that would wish to see a player get injured, even the opposing team. I only can hope that, with some rest, this young man will be back to the pitching mound for the Astro's soon.
My team is now 4 and 3, which is a pretty darned good start for them :) They seem to have a lot more moxie as a team this year, scoring late in the game when they can, not giving up to anyone. This is all one can expect from the team they root for, don't give up. As a great ball player once said, it ain't over 'til it's over!
LET'S GO BUCS!!!!
