This is a phrase that is often heard during the course of a day, whether spoken by co-workers or housewives talking to friends on the phone. I need coffee. I often say this phrase myself and all I do is sit in front of this computer all day.
Coffee can be a very addictive habit, not quite as bad as cigarettes or hard core drugs, but it seems addictive just the same. How many people can function without that morning cup of coffee? Not many, I'm sure.
Today is an unusual day for me. Normally, having been up for a couple of hours, I am working on consuming my third or fourth cup of joe. Today I have only had one cup. I am finding it harder than normal to think. If my body would cooperate more (I am very pained today) I'd get up and get a second cup as I am sure that would clear up the cobwebs in my mind so that I could think more clearly. It also would, I'm sure, make me feel more awake. I feel like taking a nap lol
In the meantime I sit here looking at ads on PTC sites and being bored and trying my best to think so that I can write posts for pay that will make you, my readers, desire to visit the websites that I write about.
And think to myself...I need coffee.

Peace And Quiet
I have the pleasure of living with two females, one younger, one is my spouse. They can be rather noisy at times, either talking or listening to videos on the internet. The younger one is the noisiest because she cannot refrain from listening to things online and she cannot for the life of her manage to sit still.
The older one is my wonderful wife who, like all spouses, wants to talk. If she isn't here she still wants to talk. In the middle of my last blog post she called me on the phone so we can talk. It's okay, I don't mind talking to either of them if I am not trying to write.
Now the house is completely quiet, except for the usual household noises like the refrigerator motor from time to time and the sound of me typing. I have peace and quiet and I am enjoying it as I know it is short lived.
I like peace and quiet. When I was with my first wife and we had four boys they would always ask me what I wanted for my birthday or Christmas or Father's Day and I would always tell them (jokingly, of course) peace and quiet. I never got this gift then and I won't ever get it now either, not with two females around.
I love all my kids very much and I wouldn't trade the experience of raising them for anything. I never wanted kids but somehow managed to end up with five of them, all of them stepchildren but still, all of them mine. And I love them.
Now I am going to sit back, drink a cup of coffee, smoke a cigarette and enjoy the peace and quiet while I may. I have another post to write and I need to be able to think clearly, something peace and quiet affords me.

Strange Week
I've not had that much luck at the tables this week. I am almost through the week and I am sitting at around 25000 points. I have played too aggressively and I have paid dearly for it :(
I have a shot at a tourney that may qualify me for a chance at an WSOP tourney which normally is ten thousand dollars just to sit down at so I am hopeful that I can get to that and win. Heck, I might even wind up on television and scare viewers LOL
In the meantime, I have many paid blog jobs to finish and they all seem to be due today so this blog might be a very busy blog for the day.
It's Friday...enjoy your weekend :)

weekly Update
Looks like I forgot to do a weekly update on my poker playing. OOPS! I cannot retrieve the exact amount I finished with but I can say that it was a bit over 30,000 points.
I also placed in the top five of a points tourney and got an invitation to the Weekly Championship Tournament. That was the good news.
The bad news was that the weekly tourney was huge! It's the largest amount of players I've seen in the championship tourney, 2,340 players! I finished in 243rd place. I think I did okay :) I really need a butt though, these tourneys can be long and drawn out and since I have no cushioning back there I hurt like the Dickens when I finish. Now, if I ever win the money I'm sure I won't complain about a sore butt LOL
This week started off very well but has since settled into mediocrity. I play some games very well and some I play like a complete buffoon. I have to work on that.
More good news...I just checked my paying site and I have eight assignments to write between now and the 16th. That's forty dollars :)

A Takeover
It is time to take over this blog and go back to what it was originally designed for, mainly writing. Gone are the pictures or most of them. I will delete the remainders as time allows.
Why, you ask am I doing such a dastardly deed? It's simple, actually. Work is the reason. Since I started being lazy and just posting mainly pictures, my paid post assignments have dwindled. I have had one in the past two weeks! This is not a good thing, as I like writing those posts and I also like the extra money I get from doing them.
So, if you are one of those that just comes here for the pictures, I am sorry to disappoint you. Tough (economic) times call for desperate measures.

Moving Forward!
One of the companies I have written for in the past has accepted this blog so that I can continue to not only torture you with my babblings about what's going on in Life, but also tempt you with posts that I write for pay.
I love writing paid posts, it is always a creative challenge. What to say, how to get your attention and make you want to visit the site, these are important things and I strive to do my utmost to get them correct :)
Speaking of writing and making a little cash on the side, have you gone and checked out the mylot site yet? If not, why not? It is a fun place to socialize with people all over the world and see and learn new things about how the rest of the world lives, what is important to their lives, great things like that! So, don't delay, head on over to mylot and click where it says discussions. Read a few and then join in the fun! When you join, I will know right away and I can come and help you have fun :)

It's Killing Me
I write several blogs, as most of my readers know, and all of them are different to some degree. Three of those blogs are on a free website host called blogono. Normally, it is a great site, easy to write to and post on as well as edit if need be. But, since I started doing paid posts the site has gone down at the most inconvenient of times :(
So, it looks like I better start writing more over here and perhaps on Xanga, just to keep things going. I also have asked that this blog be added to my paid to post sites, so that if I get a job I have an actual shot at doing the job, thus earning some money.
I do hope that the wonderful folks running blogono get their act together and keep the site running smoothly. I'm tired of the downtime and I am tired of getting emails from my advertisers telling me that the site is down. That's not a good way to run a business.
In the meantime, I do hope you all have a great weekend. It's summertime, go outside and do something fun, like catch a baseball game. The family is going tomorrow to watch the local minor league team and all of us are really looking forward to going. It's nice to see players that are still playing because they love the game, not the high salary that they make :)

Working Hard At Blogging
I have been busy lately, blogging for some extra money. And, it finally is beginning to pay off :) In the past month I have manage to make roughly 75 dollars. Not a whole lot of money, I realize, but it is extra money, and I am hoping that I am beginning to get the hang of things with these pay you to write sites.
Some of them pay you rather quickly, but others take a month or so to pay. So, I figure that if I can work this right, I should be getting paid every few days. A little here, a little there, going into a paypal account. That's fine by me.
So, I believe I am really going to have to pay attention to this, treat it like I would treat a real job. I am working on that as well, trying to be out of bed earlier in the morning. I have noticed that the best way to be a paid blogger is to be in the right place at the right time. Since I am on the West Coast and they seem to be in the East, that 3 hour time difference can be a big deal.
But, so far,so good. I have made some money and I believe I can continue to do so :)

Perils Of Internet Partnerships
Normally, I would not do this, as it was a PPP that I didn’t get, but I found this one interesting enough to me to put it in my blog anyway. More information can be found on this gentleman’s website, and his address is below the press release.
Press Release:
Ownership of RateMyTeachers.com, one of the internet’s most popular education destinations with over 70K visitors per day, and the legal effect of its purported recent sale to Patrick Nagle, is currently under dispute. RateMyTeachers was initially founded in August 2001 as a complement to RateMyProfessors.com (currently owned by Viacom) under Michael Hussey’s then “RateMy Network”. The site was restructured as a partnership in 2002 between MisterMessage LLC, John Swapceinski, and Michael Hussey. Since that time, it has grown significantly year-over-year.
Recently the partners agreed to terms according to which Message LLC would sell its partnership interest to Michael Hussey.
MisterMessage now claims to have “sold” RateMyTeachers to Patrick Nagle LLC, without consent of all the partners, for an unspecified amount of cash and a promise to participate in profits from any resale. Under California partnership law, no sale of the partnership can be effective absent the consent of all partners. Prior to the sale, Michael Hussey placed both MisterMessage LLC and Mr. Nagle on notice that he objected to any sale without his consent, and has reiterated that objection to all parties to the sale. Any prospective purchaser of RateMyTeachers should also be on notice of the dispute over ownership.

It must be Spring! All around the house I see a multitude of butterflies :) The weather is getting warmer too, which makes me happy. I love warm weather and I am always happy to see the end of Winter. My poor old bones and joints are happy too LOL
I have been busy making a few dollars here and there with some of my blogs, and I cannot complain about that! Having someone pay me to write, how kind! The only problem I have had is that I almost always write much more than is required.Guess I am just gabby LOL
If you like to write, and wish to get paid for your services, then I strongly urge you to sign up here:

Good and Not
I am having fun with blogging, especially the paid posts, like this one. If there is anything difficult about doing them, it has to be that I find it difficult to stop writing LOL The one I linked to, for example was a short one, minimum of 100 words. But, my creativity kicked in and I wrote a lot more than that :) That is good. The not so good is that I did it all for so little money. I won't say the amount, as I wouldn't want to embarrass myself or the company I wrote it for. But, I suppose, in the end, it's all good as this was my first paid post for this service and I want to do more for them. Besides, it's money I earned, and earning any money is always good :)
On the not so good side, there was an email in my box this morning saying that my blog over on blogono.com was not approved for their writing services. Foo!
But, back to the good, another company sent me an email saying that my blog was approved for them, so hooray!
So, I shall continue on my path to making money by blogging, certainly not to get wealthy or anything, but every dollar earned is a dollar I can use.
Hope all of you are having a fantastic day!
