Lazy, Lazy

I'm lazy today. Lazier than usual, if you like. I have things I need to do and some things I wanted to do, but I haven't done much of anything.
I know I am never going to be a day person, no matter how much I know I should be. Even with roughly eight hours of sleep I wake up groggy if it's early morning. Let me sleep until noon and I am better.
I have been up for four hours and still have zero motivation. I ate breakfast, drank several cups of coffee, played on Marapets a little and am now ready for a nap.
So, tell me, why does work get in my way??

Hot And Humid??

One of the things that I love about the desert where I live is the heat. So much nicer than the freezing cold of Winter. It is a dry heat so it's just simply hot. But today it is also humid as the weather people call for a 20% chance of rain.
I do not like hot and humid. Ugh! Humid heat just makes you feel all sticky from sweating. If you take a shower and come back out into the humid heat you feel all sticky again. That just doesn't seem right :(
The other thing I dislike about hot and humid is that it makes me sleepy. Like I am not lazy enough, Mother Nature has to help me be lazier? Thanks for nothing! LOL

I'd pray for the rain but I know better. If it rains, this desert becomes almost unbearable. I'll be turning on a fan and hiding in the bedroom if it rains. Sleeping, of course. Humidity does that ya know LOL

Lazy Days of Summer

Summer is here. It is hot here in the desert, very, very hot. I like the heat as opposed to the harshness of the Winter. Winter is too painful for people with arthritis. The heat of Summer is better suited for those of us with arthritis or other painful joints.
The problem with Summer is, for me, the beginning of the weather shift. On one hand I am happy that it is getting warmer. On the other hand however I am lazy. I don't want to do anything in this heat but sleep. Just sitting here at the computer is a lot of work at times. I have work to do but I just don't care, I'd rather be lazy lol
I realize that it is just the weather pattern shifting from one exteme to another and it is a phase that will pass. In the meantime I shall force myself to sit here and do my work. I cannot make any money if I don't.
