I got my Medi_Cal card finally so I contacted the person at the hospital that helped me with the initial application process. I asked her how do I now use the card to pay those hospital bills, roughly forty thousand dollars worth.
Got an email this morning telling me that the hospital has already billed Medi-Cal for those two visits. That means I don't have to go to the hospital and deal with their payment folks. A break for me.
She also told me how I can use the card to pay the ambulance bills. All I have to do is send them a copy of my card and they will bill Medi-Cal directly from there. This is good because I have no clue where the ambulance company is located lol
So, breaks for me and a great day as well!

Lowe's Savings
Yesterday morning one of the Mods on my game site had to leave in a rush to go help a neighbor. Seems the 73 year old neighbor had his water heater break and there was water everywhere. The water heater had only been installed for about five months, bought from Lowe's. It appeared that the water heater came undone at a welded seam, which is why there was so much water. A quick phone call to Lowe's and all concerned were assured that Lowe's would not only replace it immediately, they would also assist in cleaning up the mess. Very nice business practice for Lowe's and I salute them.
Lowe's is a very popular home improvement store, I know because every time I have been there there is always a lot of customers. Their prices are already good, but did you know that you can save even more money there by using lowe’s coupons?
From accessories to windows, Lowe's has the home improvement items that every house might need. Even if you are not improving but say, replacing a water heater, Lowe's has the goods.
Check out the coupons on the website and see if there is something you may need then take advantage of the coupon and buy it now at an even better price. There is nothing better than saving money by using Lowe's coupons short of free. You know I love free. But, I also love saving money, period. This is why these Lowe's coupons are so nice to have.

Great Joke
Last night in the lobby I was having a bit of fun with one of the players and another Mod. The Mod had used a bunch of capital letters in a sentence, a rule violation. I was teasing the Mod about having to take away his chat for that like we do the players.
One of the players was telling me things like kick him hard! and make sure to leave a red mark with that boot.
The other Mod had to go to work so we decided to have some fun with the player. The Mod didn't say good-bye in the lobby and, after awhile, another Mod came into the lobby to ask me what happened to Bubba. I told her I gave Bubba three hours of silence for using those caps. The player was horrified! Kept telling me over an over that he was just kidding, he didn't really want me to boot Bubba. It was hilarious!
Off and on for the next seven or eight hours the player would mention that I booted a fellow Mod. A lot of the players now must really think I am a tyrant. If I will boot a moderator what chance do they have to misbehave? LOL
I guess I will have to send the player a mail telling him he just had his leg pulled, it was all a joke.

ATV Wheels
Yesterday's post was all about fun at the beach and wearing the appropriate clothing. What if you don't live close to or have access to a beach? Does that mean you should stay home and mope? Not a all!
No matter where you live there must be somewhere close by where you can get out and ride around on an ATV. Enjoy the sunshine, the riding with friends and having fun! Before all that though, be sure to check your ATV Wheels to make sure they, and the rest of the vehicle, are in good shape. Accidents happen but you don't have to help them happen.
Super ATV has parts for all sorts of ATVs from Arctic Cat to Polaris to Yamaha. Whatever ATV you have they are sure to have the parts you need for your ATV to keep it running at it's best.
Riding an ATV can be lots of fun but always remember that you must think safety first. Make sure you have the proper equipment to ride and follow all the safety laws from your area. In fact, make sure you obey all the laws for ATVs where you live, don't just assume you can go wherever you wish.
Load up your ATV, head out to a great recreational spot and have fun!

Great News
Great news for me. After seven months of red tape and other government baloney I finally got approved for Medi-Cal from the state of California.
This means that soon I will be free of the hospital debts from the two visits I made during the Winter. It is a load off my mind!
I have to wait a few more days tho, as they send the plastic Medi-Cal card seperately. Once I have that in my hands I am good to go. I am very excited!
I'm happy not just because of the hospital debts, but because I really do need some insurance. I can barely move around without tiring myself and getting out of breath. Ugh! I am hoping that I will be able to see a doctor and get some sort of breathing treatments for this COPD I have. Or some sort of mobility device to help my bad back. I am afraid to leave the house for anything other than a short walk to the curb and back.
Also an eye exam would be nice. I have not had my eyes examined in ten years or more. Sometimes sitting here at this monitor for too long gives me the most awful headaches and dizzy spells. Not good.
So, today I am a very happy camper :)

Surf's Up, Dude
Today is hot and humid here in the desert. It rained a little yesterday and today we all pay the price for that small cooling off from the heat. I'm not one of those that deals with with humidity, hence why I live in the desert. But for some reason when I am at the beach I feel just fine. Maybe it's the saltwater air that makes it all okay. Or, maybe it's the hot chicks in their swimwear.
One thing is for certain as far as the beach goes, you must, absolutely must, wear the right clothing. You don't want people pointing at you behind your back and giggling. That stinks!
You need something that says you belong at that beach and you fit in with the beach crowd. Some shorts like these perhaps:

Something that is genuine surf clothing. Shorts like those, a tank top if you need a shirt, a cap to keep the sun out of your face (and help you look at the girls) and you fit right in and no one will be giggling.
Remember though, bring your sunscreen. You are not going to look good in those shorts if you are sunburned!

Justice
Three years and one verdict later the Casey Anthony saga ends. Many are grumbling on their social networks, complaining that the jury said not guilty. This is their right, to grumble.
It is why the American justice system is such a great thing. A person gets their day in court, judged by a jury of their peers. One cannot ask for anything better than this.
This trial was doomed from the beginning. The news media had Ms Anthony tried, convicted and killed before the trial had even begun. The law enforcement people did their darndest to continue to feed the media anything and everything, right or wrong.
The defense team did a wonderful job of defending their client, tossing reasonable doubts into the minds of the jury. If you were on trial that is exactly what you would want your defense team to do as well.
I feel badly for the little girl that died. I feel badly for the family that was left behind. I wish the Anthony's the best of luck trying to move onward in life.
