Wrinkles Are Not Cute

We live in a strange society. Young, 20-somethings hawk hair color on television as if they were old and needed to color their hair. Older celebrities hawk products that, they claim, will make you look or feel younger. Seems like folks cannot make up their minds what age they want to be.
When I was young, old people had wrinkles. They were called "character lines". Since my childhood antics often got me called a character I often wondered if I was going to get all wrinkly like them. Crow's feet were called "laugh lines" which certainly sounds better. What the heck were crows doing on someones face anyway? Your grandparents had these lines, perhaps your aunts and uncles too. If your parents were getting up there maybe they had them as well, but odds are you would be the blame, like you were for their gray hair. Odds are good too that only the females in your family worried about these lines. Men worried more about going bald than wrinkles or gray hair.
Times are much different now. The gender lines have blurred to the point where both genders worry about pretty much the same things. And wrinkles are a big concern for both men and women. There are a lot of products out there that claim to reduce these unsightly lines from your face, but which wrinkle cream is the best one for you?
You could spend a lot of time and money trying them all or doing research about them but, in the end, I think the only thing that would get you is a thinner pocketbook and more wrinkles. Better to use the research done by someone else and choose the product that you think is correct. Let someone else get character lines from too much studying!
So, if you have crow's feet under your eyes or your face isn't as youthful as you'd like it to be then check out the products on the website. Look as young as you feel. Give yourself an added boost without the cost of a facelift.

I'm Not There Quite Yet

Happy Birthday

It's my birthday. I turned 59 today, no big deal really. The only good part of turning 59 is that I now only have six months before I can see if there is anything left in my tax sheltered annuities since the stock market is in the toilet. I hope there is still a few dollars left LOL

The Week That Was

And I wish it was the week that was not. Flashes of brilliance were almost non existent. Some hands I thought I played well but then I lost . I was feeling rather down by Sunday but vowed to do my best in the weekly championship tourney and I did try hard. I finished 355 out of 1491 players, which isn't that bad. Still I couldn't help but look back at the week and feel a little sorry for myself. I finished the week with 27435 points which is the worst points amount ever in a week.
But, just when I was feeling bad, I read this:
Crushed Bellagio game last night and followed that up with my biggest online loss ever. Felt like I was on HSP yay!

Friday I turn 59. Yay for me :)

Strange Spring

Today is a little on the cool side, yet yesterday was almost like summer, with temperatures in the high 80's. Why can't Mother Nature make up her mind already?LOL
Maybe it will warm up again around noon.I hope so,because I am not a cool weather person! I like it hot, that's why I like the desert. Although, I won't be shocked if in the summertime I complain about the heat.I have noticed that with every passing year I get less comfortable with the heat. Odd how that happened.
I've lived in this desert for the better part of forty-odd years. I hated the heat when I first moved here,but after a summer or two, I was used to it and then I grew to love it. But, now that I am older (57) I am going backwards, to where the heat seems to much for me. I guess the solution would be to just become a nudist and let it all hang out and get myself an all over tan LOL
