When I first saw this I thought it was a brand new car company cashing in on the latest and smart trend of electric cars to save the environment as well as money from buying gasoline ( Up around $6 a gallon in Los Angeles). But it has nothing to do with cars at all. It is a great name though, Marathon. As most people know, a marathon is a very long race, usually miles. Takes a long time to complete and if you can accomplish getting to the finish line you can be very proud of yourself. Marathon, long, long running. It truly fits these marathon electric motors.
