When I was in high school, drugs were everywhere. It was the hippie era after all. The school I went to kept an eye on us to make sure we weren't smoking weed or popping pills or anything else like that.
Tonight, my teenager who is a Senior and should graduate soon tells me this. On Grad Night the students are supposed to show up at five o'clock because the school wants to have the students give a urine sample so they can check for drugs. I'm hopeful that this was someones idea of an April Fool's Day joke.
I know kids do drugs, but a urine sample on Grad Night seems a bit strange to me.
