Wouldn't it be nice to be able to have more hard drive space without having to take your computer apart and add another drive? Or, perhaps you'd just like to clean up the drive you use, moving music and movies and pictures to another drive without the hassle. I know I would. Seems like the two females in my house have hardly ever seen a picture they didn't want to save. But, like most computer users I hate having to go inside and play around with hard drives and wires and all that.
Here's an easier solution, try using an external hard drive. Just grab one of these and plug it into any USB hub or slot on your computer and viola more space than you might ever need!
Check out this one:
It's the Seagate 1.5TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive. Yep, you read that correctly, one and a half TB. Just think of all the videos and music that can hold. or, if you're into more mundane things, imagine how much of your work that drive can handle. And because it is a USB external device you could take it to work with you and then easily take your work home with you. And there would still be lots of room left over for more fun things.
So much easier to just plug something into a USB slot than taking the cover off your computer. And, let's face it, most of us should never even think about taking a computer that works apart.

I Made It!
it took me a while but yesterday evening I managed to reach the payout on NoPayPoker.
I know it's not big dollars but I am proud of myself. And besides, twenty five dollars is twenty five dollars and I don't know anyone that would pass up free money :)

Here I Go Again
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, once more this blog is about losing weight. I know, I know, you've heard it all before. Well, you are going to hear it again!
This morning I thought about an old insulting joke where one guy tells another he is fat and the overweight person tells them yeah, I'm fat but you are ugly. I can change! It's true, too. An ugly person will always be ugly but a fat person can lose their excess weight. So, why haven't you?
With the amount of weight los products on the market these days you really have no good excuse for being overweight. Trust me, I've heard them all from under active thyroids to just being naturally big boned. Unless that is what your physician told you, it's more than likely a big, fat lie.
With all the products to choose from you need some help getting the right product for you. One that will not only work but won't thin your wallet at the same time.
So, do some research (click the link above) and then talk to your doctor before committing to any drugs. Better to be safe than to just rush in with whatever looks good at the moment.
Since it's Winter this is a great time to think about looking leaner and healthier when the warm weather comes around.

Weather
It's been raining off and on for a couple of days now. Flooding in Los Angeles and that area are awful. Mus in the hillsides too. Then, this afternoon, the Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Orange County. What the heck? A tornado in the land of earthquakes? How strange! We even had a bit of sleet here in the desert an hour or so ago. Where is my sunshine???

I Hate Those Things
Do you suffer from adult acne? Adult acne is caused by lots of things, including stress, hormones, birth control pills, or even bad cosmetics. It can be frustrating to find a treatment for adult acne, because there are so many different options to choose from. Before you spend any more money on treatments, consider this: 95% of all acne treatments don’t work.
Looking at pimples on an adult face may bring back the horrors of your high school days but with a twist. At least in high school almost everyone had a pimply face. Sure, you thought yours were worse than everyone elses. As an adult, you look around and don't see anyone else suffering from acne and you really are in a panic mode. But there is help on the market for this problem. The only thing you need to concern yourself with is which product will help you.
Here is what you need: a product that will get rid of adult acne SAFE and EFFECTIVELY,
it is free of harmful chemicals and 100% safe to use, and it has a fair price and great overall results. No one wants to waste their time and money on something that is useless. You want something that will not only work quickly but one that will give you back some sense of self confidence. Face it, with acne at any age you feel like people will be staring at your pimples and not looking (or listening) to you as a human being.
You also need to find the cause of your acne problem and try to cure that problem as well. Talk to your doctor. Look around at your life. Is it that stressful? How can you amke life easier? Think things through, get an acne aid that will help and get on with your life.

All Or Nothing
The past couple of days Shelly has been here "helping" me to play poker. her favorite words seem to be "all in!". Even if my pocket cards are not very good, low cards not connected, unsuited, whatever, she insists that I bet on them and, usually, bet big.
While I try to explain why I would not bet on these cards I do have to wonder why sometimes. Yesterday I was all in with K-A and was soundly beaten by someone holding 7-5. By the turn card he had already drawn a straight and I was out of the game, scratching my head at how that could occur. Maybe that loud mouth guy that is a pro has some sense when he says things like only an idiot would play those cards. the only difference is I am beginning to see just who the idiot is and it is me.
I guess this is why gambling should be left to the professionals. I don't think I was cut out to be a card player LOL
At the very least I am having fun and have made some nice friends online :)

No Magic Here
it would be really nice if one could look in the mirror, realize they have too much weight and wave a magic wand and *poof* the excess pounds have vanished. But, that's not going to happen. You might look in the mirror and realize you've become fat but you will have to do something yourself to make those pounds go away. But, what can you do?
Weightlosswand dor com does not have a magic wand to take away your flabbiness but they do have some answers regarding weight loss. Are you confused by all the claims that each weight loss pill makes? Well, you are not the first. For too long, the diet industry has focused on negative health facts to scare consumers into purchasing diet pills. WeightLossWand.com is dedicated to helping you put aside your fears and help you achieve your goal with positive thinking.
Which diet pills are the right ones for you? Everyone is different and, even though heavy folks may share that similarity, every body is different as well. Only you can choose which diet pills and plans are correct for your body as well as your finances.
Before you do anything about losing that weight you should do several steps. First you should figure out just how much weight you think you should lose. Then you should do some research regarding diet pills and plans. Finally you should discuss the plan you've chosen with your doctor and get their input as to whether you are on the right track or not. No sense becoming a health risk or getting ill because of losing weight.
Good luck with whichever pills and plans you make as you head for becoming a healthier, happier you.

Build Up Your Muscles
These days there is lots on the news about steroids. Mark McGwire has now revealed that he used steroids and human growth hormones during his days as a ball player. I'm sure that a lot of professional sports players have used some sort of muscle helpers. These are not right for them and they certainly are not right for you or me.
It would be nice though to have a little more muscle, a little extra strength to get you through life. A gym can help somewhat but you might also need muscle supplements.
But the fact is that most muscle builders don't work, and what's worse, they actually interfere with your body's natural processes, stopping natural testosterone production and causing side effects common to steroids. Many of your other alternatives are simply not strong enough!
The good news is that there are a few products that give you the power, pump, and energy based ingredients you need to elevate your muscle cell production or enhancement, and they do not interfere with your body's natural mechanisms of action. They can help you to build more muscle, become stronger, and define your appearance.
So, if you have been thinking about grabbing some extra muscle power this is the place for you! You might want to use these products while you are getting yourself into shape, losing that extra flab I wrote about a few days ago. They could go hand in hand to help build a better, stronger you!

One Of Those Days
I'm grumpy. Everything that is running slowly today online is bugging me and I am agitated. I just got grumpy with my wife. Maybe I shoulda stood in bed.
I hate days like this. I am normally a very laid back contented person and I am happy that way. being a grouch is not a good way to spend the day, more so when the day is still fairly young. It's only 3 o'clock in the afternoon. If I am this grumpy now, what will I be at nine o'clock? A grizzly bear?
I have got to get out of this temperment and back to my old, friendly self.
Maybe another cup of coffee will help :)

Poker Things I wonder About
Why do so many poker players call an all in bet when they know that they cannot win? All the cards are on the table already. The pot isn't large enough to make it worth stealing. I see this time and time again. What are they thinking? An Ace and a King do not beat a pair of anything nor three of a kind or any other winning hand. Just plain stupid.
If you have rags, not connected, not suited, why risk all of your chips on them? Are they psychic? Do they honestly believe that the dealer is only going to deal fives and twos?
When there is an Ace on the flop and you don't have one and you bet only to be called by someone that does have an Ace, why are you shocked when that King in your hand doesn't win? This, especially when there was no King on the flop, the turn or the river?
Why is it that you can easily spot the players that have read the poker experts books? Is the dead giveaway the fact that they feel compelled to raise the pot at three or five times the big blind amount? And,why do they do it preflop with rags? That sort of thing might work for the professionals but it doesn't work for amateurs online.
I'm sure there are more and, as I think of them I will write about them :)

Don't Pop it, Smooth it Away
You wake up and get ready for your day. You look in the mirror and your jaw drops. there are your face is a zit. You've got acne! Your first urge might be to pop that zit, but don't do it. Use a good acne treatment and go on with your day. Perhaps you should have been using acne lotions before you got that zit!
Acne lotions are often used as an afterthought. We think of them as the product you use after the real acne product, and most of the time they are. In fact, sometimes they even clog the pores and make acne worse!
But at AcneLotion.org, they have researched hundreds of different acne lotions to find those that act as real acne fighters and moisturize skin without clogging pores at the same time.
They analyzed and critiqued hundreds of acne lotions and treatments and ranked them based on the following 6 point criteria:
* 1. Effectiveness
* 2. Side effects
* 3. Ingredient Quality
* 4. Moisturizing Ability
* 5. Customer Feedback
* 6. Overall Value
Check out the results then choose the acne lotion and treatment that is the right one for you and your skin. Treat your skin kindly, it's the only skin you have! Then, once it's working you can wake up to face the day and look in that mirror with confidence, knowing that you won't be surprised by zits.

Microsoft, Take Note
Now that your genius software people have upgraded everything, making it "simple" I have an even better task for them. How about making it work for a change?
While I am sure that the new and improved Windows is very nice, I'll stick to XP until all the geniuses get all the bugs out thanks. I'd be much happier as a PC user if you could figure out how to get the newest version of Internet Explorer (also new and improved) to work properly. You know, without freezing up and messing up the entire computer while it tries to unstick itself?
Personally, I'd pick working properly over simple any day of the week and twice on Sundays :)
I realize this is probably a great task to undertake. Maybe you all could go back to Windows 3, the one that actually did work before you tweaked it LOL

Because Accidents Happen
If you drive, and almost everyone does these days, then sooner or later you are going to be forced to deal with car insurance companies.
There are a lot of companies out there and they all want your money while protecting you, your vehicle and your passengers. They all make grand claims, from "fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent" to the old standby of "are you in good hands?". But, which one is the right one to choose?
The only person that can truly answer that question is you. Depending upon which state you reside in and just how much can you afford, many things come into play. Not all insurance policies are right for everyone.
Buying the right car insurance coverage and shopping for the most affordable price are important considerations whether you buy a new car or used. All states require some form of car insurance but even if that were not the case, driving without it is a huge gamble with the property and lives of driver and passengers. So, where to shop for this valuable commodity?
You could go and visit a local agent, if you have the time. But a lot of these agents will try to sell you insurance that will give them the most commissions. It's your policy, you should get what is right for you, not some agent!
Clicking on the link posted in this article will take you to a site where you can compare many insurance companies and find a policy that will fit both you and your pocketbook. There also is a section that will explain different terms, such as Comprehensive and Collision which cars are the safest (Audi Q7).
So, now is as good a time as any to take a look at insuring your car. Because, as we all know too well, accidents happen!
