This morning, as I have done every morning since they cut me off, I powered up the DSL modem just in case Verizon turned my DSL back on. I was logging into AOL through their dialer when out of the corner of my eye I saw a steady green light. Could it be? I plugged the ethernet cable back in, shut down the AOL dialer and went to my email and clicked send/receive. Lo and behold, I had DSL!! No more AOL snail speed. No more busy signals for people trying to call me (like yesterday when my son tried to call). Good-bye AOL and Good Riddance!
