Promote Yourself

So you have a business online and you want to get as many people as possible to enjoy your site and buy your product. You've worked hard to get yourself into search engines and such. You should be satisfied but you still want more visitors, the more the merrier. But you are missing out on something. Yes, the internet is a boon to business but some of the "old" ways are still best as far as advertising goes.
Say you're out somewhere in town. You meet someone and have a conversation about business. You'd like this person to go and visit your online business but giving them a long URL might not be all that handy a thing. You write it down on a piece of paper and hope that they'll remember it later. Maybe it works, maybe they lose the piece of paper and you lost a potential customer. Not a good thing.
Now imagine that same scenario. Instead of a scrap of paper you hand that potential customer a smartly designed business card. Easily fits in their wallet or their shirt pocket. Easy to find later! Your odds of having that potential customer come visit your website have now increased dramatically.
The internet is a great thing, but sometimes old fashioned ideas are still the best. But, where do you go for business card printing? Online, of course. Print Direct For Less has business cards, door hangers, posters, even scratch offs. How about mailing lists and postcards? They have those too. All sorts of items that a business can use to reach customers without the internet. Remember business life before the internet?
We all get mailers, every day it seems. Junk mail we call it. But, think about how often you actually look at that "junk". I look at mine because you never know what the ad is for. Maybe it's something I'm in need of. I especially look at postal sized cards because they are almost always something special.
Think about this. I've just received your business postal card in the mail. I look at it because I like those kinds of advertising. I like what I see so I go to visit your website. I purchase your product. You made a customer that you normally might not have ever gotten because I didn't go searching for your product on a search engine. I'm happy, you're happy. That's great business.
So, get yourself some good old fashioned tools for your business and make more money. That is why people go into business, to make money. Don't lose any opportunity for a customer no matter what your level of new age thinking may be.
